Paciente de 34 años con alopecia avanzada, dermatitis crónica y zona donante afectada (DUPA, diffuse unpatterned alopecia). Se instaura tratamiento médico y se realizan controles durante el primer año constatando, por suerte, una mejoría en la calidad del pelo tanto en su zona donante como receptora (45 a 50 micras, 2.0 pelos/unidad). Como hemos comentado en anteriores videos, consideramos candidatos a los DUPA siempre que estén medicados, respondan a la medicación y el paciente entienda las características de su tipo de alopecia. Se realiza una intervención de 3003 unidades con retoque de frontal, media, coronilla y picos temporales (6161 pelos; 2.05 pelos/unidad; 0.8/0.8 serrado/0.85 mm punch; 542FU1/1796FU2/ 644FU3/64FU4). Crecimiento temprano a los 5 meses favorecido por el estricto control de su dermatitis.
